John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
Rom. 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

DEPRESSION

Ps 32:3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. (4) For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer.

Phil 2:1 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, (2) fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (3) Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. (4) Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. (5) Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, (6) who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, (7) but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
1 Pet. 5:6-7 -(6) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, (7) casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Love never fails..

MARRIAGE

SELF CONTROL. (AV, NKJV="sober" NIV="self control")
This is an important requirment for Christians. In this passage where Paul instructs Titus on how to train his congregation, note how frequently self-control is either commanded or implied.
Titus 2:2-6 (2) that the older men be sober (self-controlled), reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; (3) the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things---- (4) that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, (5) to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. (6) Likewise exhort the young men to be sober-minded (self-controlled), (7) in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, (8) sound speech that cannot be condemned (i.e. self-controlled), that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you. (9) Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back (i.e. self-controlled), (10) not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.
Prov. 25:28 Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls.
Prov. 29:11 A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.
1 Thess. 5:6-8 (6) Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober (self-controlled). (7) For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. (8) But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

SHYNESS, TIMIDITY
2 Tim. 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Heb. 12:12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees.

SORCERY, WITCHCRAFT, ASTROLOGY, SPIRITISM
2 Thess. 2:9-10 (9) The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, (10) and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Lev. 19:31 Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Zech. 10:2 For the idols speak delusion; The diviners envision lies, And tell false dreams; They comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; They are in trouble because there is no shepherd.
Deut. 13:1-3 (1) "If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, (2) "and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, `Let us go after other gods' --which you have not known--`and let us serve them,' (3) "you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Rev. 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

SUFFERING
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, (3) knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. (4) But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Rom. 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Pet. 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, (7) that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
1 Pet. 4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
